This is my first review of the very first all-natural hair care product I’ve ever used!
I love that it is sulfate-free, chemical-free, paraben-free and free of synthetic colors. It makes me feel so good to know that I’m finally nourishing my hair with a truly proclaimed all-natural conditioner! Additionally, it’s a universal conditioner for all hair types and is safe for color treated hair.
I remember stumbling upon this conditioner at a local Walgreen’s while shopping with my sister a few months ago. I didn’t really need shampoo or conditioner at the time, but I always find myself in the haircare/make-up aisles when I go to these types of stores. Lol. And of course I saw all the well-known (and chemically loaded) haircare brands like: L’Oreal, Suave, Garnier Fructis, Herbal Essences, etc. To my surprise, there was a small section at the end of the aisle that had natural haircare products. I was impressed and intrigued by the fact that Walgreen’s carries haircare products that are truly natural. High-five Walgreen’s! Kudos.
I picked up (and obviously purchased) Renpure Solutions cleansing conditioner firstly because it was chemical-free, and secondly because of how AWESOME it smelled!!! Holy moly. A sweet, uplifting aroma of Rosemary and Mint. I was hooked and couldn’t WAIT to wash my hair with this stuff! 😀

Their Rosemary Mint cleansing conditioner smells so divine; the combination of rosemary and mint is genius and the scents complement each other very well. This aroma immediately awakens your senses, yet has relaxing qualities at the same time. With each use of this conditioner, my hair felt rejuvenated and clean. This conditioner literally melts into your hair nourishing each strand with highly respected ingredients of coconut oil, keratin and Shea butter; just to name a few.
What I initially noticed about this conditioner is that it has a liquid consistency, unlike your average conditioner, which is usually thick. I believe that is why the directions on the back of the bottle say to apply 10-12 pumps from roots to ends, because a few pumps won’t be enough to saturate all of your hair. At first, this kind of worried me because I felt like I would go through the bottle much quicker than usual because of how many pumps I’m suggested to use. It’s actually the opposite though because I only wash my hair two-three times a week, so I don’t use it as often.
*For best results: massage the conditioner in your hair for 2-3 minutes. Then, let it sit for 4-5 minutes. Rinse.*
My only negative comment about this conditioner is that it is not a good detangler. When I get out of the shower, I typically get busy doing other things and I don’t immediately brush my hair right after. Maybe I should start doing so, because after using this, my hair gets super tangle-y, and it dries very quickly. Other than that, this conditioner is top notch and I recommend it. I do, however, love how soft, smooth and clean it makes my hair feel once I brush it out and style.
So! Check it out the next time you venture down to your local Walgreen’s. It’s definitely worth a try. 🙂
